The OPTOEMU-PT600 auxiliary box is an optional accessory for the OptoEMU Sensor energy monitoring appliance. In most installations, power for the OptoEMU Sensor is provided through a standard 120 or 240 wall outlet. However, if power is provided through another source, for example a monitored electrical panel, you will need the OPTOEMU-PT600 auxiliary box. The box contains a transformer that takes input voltages between 220 and 600 VAC and transforms them to the 100-250 volts required by the OptoEMU Sensor. The box also contains a fusible disconnect for safety.
